My choral composition, Butterfly, (text by Carla Brooke) will be premiered by Serenade, a chamber choir directed by Dr. Bryan Baker on Saturday, June 10, 2023. The performance will will take place at Old First Church in San Francisco at 8:00 p.m.
Sprites, a chamber work for flute, clarinet, violin and cello will be performed at the Center for New Music in San Francisco on June 24, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. It is part of a concert of new music called “Five by Five” with works by Bay Area Composers. My composition, Sprites, is inspired by an unusual weather phenomenon, immense flashes or red or blue lights above thunderstorms.
